I stayed with my husband for my birthday. Everything was perfect. The location is great and just a short walk to the Thermal Baths, Abbey and shops. The room was stunning, especially the four poster bed. I would definitely book again and highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel. We stayed in the first week of January so it was very quiet and perhaps lacked a buzz but we were happy to have a peaceful stay. It's a beautiful property, decorated with an eclectic mix of traditional and perhaps original features, alongside contemporary art and furnishings. We had a wonderful suite with spacious lounge area and large bedroom with perhaps super king size bed. The bathroom felt dated but no doubt is classed as original rather than old. Our package included a bottle of wine which was delicious, and was served to us at a time of our choosing and perfectly chilled. Staff were very friendly, with a lovely breakfast offering served. There is a small bar and outdoor terrace with hot tub but we didn't use these features. The hotel is about 5 minutes brisk walk to Pulteney Bridge and the start of the shopping, restaurant and tourists area. The hotel is on a quiet residential street, parking is only avaliable at the sister hotel which is just a few minutes walk away. I definitely recommend this hotel for a short or longer stay in Bath.

Really enjoyed my stay at Dukes, we were on the top floor and there are no lifts, so if this is the case for you, pack light! The hotel is beautifully decorated in the Regency era style, on a lovely Bath sandstone Street only a few minutes walk from the town centre. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and even brought our bag up to the room for us.

Dukes really is a first class hotel in a first class location in the magnificent Great Pulteney Street, with the iconic Pulteney Bridge at one end and the Wonderful Holburne Museum & Sydney Gardens at the other end. It's beautifully decorated and nothing seems to be too much trouble for the wonderfully attentive staff. The real bonus for me was the street map of Bath that they supply to their guests. It's got a QR code on it - scan it and you get a PDF download of 39 top attractions. Touch the description and you get the website for the location and touch the Map URL and you get instant travel directions via Google Maps. It's absolutely brilliant and made my stay in Bath so easy and enjoyable. It also has a link to a separate Events for Bath list that lists some great Events venues with Map URL's for directions and What's on links.

I had a wonderful stay at The Dukes Hotel. I strongly recommend it. The room was spacious, beautifully furnished with charming antique pieces, and very clean. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant service was equally impressive. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to the city centre and very convenient for Bath University. A truly delightful place to stay!

Beautiful hotel. The staff were lovely and thoughtful. I booked a stay for my wife’s birthday and they even left a HBD greeting card with a note for her! I loved the room, facilities, decorations, the gorgeous view from our room, and the amazing hot tub. But above all the best part of Dukes was the staff. They were so kind, friendly and helpful throughout my stay, probably the best hotel staff I’ve ever interacted with. Only thing I wish they had was food. There’s no food available other than breakfast, and the breakfast options were limited. However they were delicious. They were flexible with our orders and accommodated everyone’s requests. And I watched the staff(wish I got her name) going through the effort to arrange every table in the dining room neat and perfect the night before, so I could see how much they care. Overall it was well worth the money I spent, and definitely the most special memorable part of my wife’s birthday trip. If I ever travel to Bath again, I’ll definitely go back here and hope to meet the same staff again!

A lovely stay in the Dukes Hotel. Just a short walk past Georgian houses into the centre of Bath. Parking was at the sister hotel 200m away. Very nicely decorated throughout. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast choices.
